What is involved in a Dalair AHU?

At Dalair, our AHU design process ensures a seamless journey from initial concept to final installation. During the tender stage, our technical sales staff conduct a preliminary design based on required volumes and unit specifications, carefully considering any limiting factors.

Once an order is placed, our highly experienced contract engineers take charge of the project in our dedicated contracts department. They meticulously fine-tune and finalise the design, leveraging their expertise to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

To provide visual clarity and ensure alignment with your project requirements, we produce comprehensive general arrangement drawings using cutting-edge CAD facilities. These drawings are submitted for approval prior to the commencement of manufacturing, giving you full confidence in the design before production begins.

As part of our commitment to supporting your BIM projects, we offer Revit .rfa files of our AHUs. These files can seamlessly integrate into your Building Information Modeling processes, streamlining the design and coordination phases.

How is a Dalair AHU constructed?

At Dalair Limited, our AHUs are constructed with precision and efficiency, ensuring consistent quality across all units, using expertly assembled framework . This framework provides a solid foundation for the installation of double-skin, insulated enclosure panels, resulting in a robust and airtight compartment.

We understand the importance of flexibility, and our smaller units can be conveniently supplied as a single section, while larger units are typically delivered in modular form. This modular approach allows for easy handling and on-site assembly, ensuring a seamless and efficient installation process.

To facilitate smooth operations, our AHU sections come equipped with a sturdy channel base support frame, complete with lifting holes that simplify craneage during installation. Additionally, we prioritise ease of maintenance and accessibility. All internal components, including fan and motor assemblies, are seamlessly integrated into the unit sections and are designed with hinged or removable access panels, ensuring convenient maintenance.

HSF Range

Bespoke Air Handling Excellence
<100 m³/s

Experience top-of-the-line air handling with Dalair Limited's HSF Range. Built with premier bespoke construction, these units feature robust insulated steel frameworks and fully powder-coated framework and base support. With 50mm double-skinned panels, they offer exceptional thermal and acoustic properties.

The HSF Range is designed for both internal and external applications, excelling in high-pressure scenarios with air volumes of up to 100 m³/s. Units are available in single or modular sections, making installation flexible and efficient. Access panels ensure easy maintenance and component removal.

Customisation options include filters, heaters, coolers, humidifiers, attenuators, plate heat exchangers, thermal wheels, and run-around coil heat recovery systems. Trust in the HSF Range from Dalair Limited for superior air handling performance, durability, and versatility.

C Series

HTM Compliant
From 0.2m³/s up to 2.0m³/s

The new C-Series range of packaged equipment is now available, incorporating low leakage shut off dampers, frost coils, primary and secondary filtration, high efficiency heat recovery, EC fan technology with secondary cooling and reheat operation.

Two methods of Heat Recovery are available in the current range (PHX) plate heat exchangers and (HRC) heat recovery coils.

Where the site permits AHU’s can be manufactured and delivered in a single section.

Air volumes range from 0.2m³/s up to 2.0m³/s, where air volumes are greater this arrangement can still be proposed.

C-Series 1 – Air volumes ranging up to 1.0m³/s.

C-Series 2 – Air volumes ranging from 1.0m³/s to 1.50m³/s.

C-Series 3 – Air volumes ranging from 1.50m³/s to 2.0m³/s.

MA Series

Fast build AHU with 50mm double skinned panels
Up to 60 m³/s

This range of air handling units has primarily been designed as an economical, fast build alternative to units having welded steel frames, and offers significant reductions in weight, without losing inherent strength, coupled with good aesthetics and a maintenance free finish.

Units are of anodized, extruded aluminum framework construction with double skinned insulated panels offering good thermal properties and maximum sound reduction through the casings. Special purpose built designs are available on request.
